“We were happy with boat 1, this second hull is its evolution”.
Max Sirena, live from Auckland, reveals to us in the events area of Milano Yachting Week – The digital Boat Show all the secrets of Luna Rossa’s second hull AC75, with which the team will be on the water at the Prada Cup from December 17th and will try to win the America’s Cup.
The skipper and managing team director of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team tells us about the boat in detail, with his usual irony: “In winter they all become builders, sailors, it’s the beauty of Italians”. And again: “I would have preferred to do the Cup with boat 1, if all the teams had also raced with the first boat”.
And: “It’s always a sailboat race!!! You can have the fastest boat but if you get the wrong board, sail adjustment, you’re screwed”.
Enjoy the nice and long interview.
