ADVANCED A62 – THE EASY-TO-MANEUVER GRAND TOURER
Plenty of deck space but a streamlined, aggressive line, this is the boat for those who want to high performance without sacrificing Maneuverability and dynamism. The new Advanced A62 encompasses a number of aero-hydrodynamic and naval architecture features that make it an innovative, responsive and fun boat that is at the same time easy to carry, safe, fast and comfortable, with ample space and volume, both interior and exterior.
Its design was created using the latest design technologies and the most advanced tools in the field of yacht design such as the Parametric CAD and a suite of naval architecture programs developed over 25 years of America’s Cup including a powerful V.P.P. program used for 5 America’s Cup editions. This allowed a large number of potential solutions to be tested, effectively enabling the water lines of a commercial boat to be developed and optimized as never before.
Advanced A62 – GRAND TOURISM
A true “Grand Tourer,” Advanced A62 combines state-of-the-art hull hydrodynamics with seductive deck styling at the highest level. The hull, appendages and sail plan design is by Roberto Biscontini, undisputed guru of high performance sailing elaborated in the long experience in the America’s Cup since 1989 with the Moor of Venice and later with the Pact 95, Young America BMW Oracle Racing, Luna Rossa, Team New Zealand teams, but also recently in the Volvo Open 70 field by participating in the Camper Emirates Team New Zeland.
Looking at her, immediately you want to be out at sea sailing! Agile and clean, simple and efficient, theAdvanced A62 balances comfort and performance with ease of maneuvering. A modern, streamlined exterior, functional deck layout and large cockpit allow for efficiency in racing maneuvers and maximum relaxation in open air cruising. Nauta Yacht Design designed the spaces below deck to have two comfortable guest cabins aft (with double or twin beds, facing forward), a large and bright open-plan saloon, and a spacious master cabin forward. Large volumes contained in the powerful, dynamically elongating hull, expertly created by Biscontini Yacht Design.
