Description

The Amel 60 is extremely docile, easy to manoeuvre and fast. In addition to the balanced shape of the hull, the standard carbon mast is also responsible for this: a first in this cruising yacht segment.

Amel 60 – Exterior

The Amel 60 also impresses with its extensive and high-quality standard equipment: standard specifications include lithium-ion service batteries, electric winches, a retractable bow thruster, various electronic instrumentation including autopilot, carbon fibre gangway, washing machine, dishwasher, large TV with sound system and much more!

Amel 60 – Interior

In addition to the usual huge owner’s cabin in the stern, the layout includes two spacious and equivalent guest cabins in the bow, each with its own bathroom. A crew cabin is also possible on request in the extreme bow.

The galley, located in the starboard passage, offers a very generous living area in the saloon while maintaining optimum ergonomics. The chart table is located to the left of the entrance and communicates directly with the entire saloon.

All these features, combined with the proverbial Amel quality, make for a unique yacht! Journalists from leading European yacht magazines have recognised this and elected the Amel 60 “European Yacht of the Year” in the “Luxury Cruiser” category in January 2020.

The new Amel 60 deliberately has the genes of the Amel 50 that preceded it by just a couple of years and also impresses with the typical Amel performance characteristics that Amel customers have always counted on:

  • Safety, handling and maximum comfort
  • Very high safety potential
  • Virtually unsinkable thanks to watertight bulkheads
  • Central cockpit with protected steering position
  • Very good behaviour at sea, even in bad weather
  • Large engine room
  • Plenty of interior and exterior storage space
  • Rigid gunwale
  • and much more…
