The simplest and most efficient system to manage the mainsail lowering on the boom.
The Battcar Switch System reduces the height of the mainsail by half once it is collected on the boom, this also simplifies the operations to hook the halyard and the positioning of the mainsail cover. It is a patented system, and works by placing the mainsail on the boom alternately on the starboard and port side. Simple, very efficient.
It is available in sizes 18, 26, 32 and 40 mm, for monohulls from 11 to 43 meters in length, for multihulls from 9 to 27 meters.
Trysail Switch System 32 mm
The Trysail Switch System allows the mainsail and the furler mainsail to run on the same rail, reducing the weight at the top as much as possible. This asymmetric switch system is mounted on the standard system and allows the mainsail and mainsail furler to use the mainsail rail. The trolleys alternate in a fully automatic way: only the hood mainsail trolleys can slide on the hood mainsail rail, while the mainsail trolleys pass in the standard switch and in the part of the rail where they then go to fold.
