CLR Mooring Winch

The winch that disappears under the thread of the blanket.

CLRs are mooring winches designed to facilitate on deck manoeuvring of both sailboats and motorboats while keeping the deck of the boat “clean”. It has unique overall dimensions and mechanical characteristics on the market.

The CLR Mooring Winch disappears completely and remains flush with the blanket when not in use. It also occupies 40% less horizontal space and 50% less vertical space than equivalent products. The weight drops by 33% with the same mechanical power characteristics of “normal” models.

This compactness allows to make more space below deck available to designers. It also makes it possible to mount more CLR Mooring Winch in different bow to stern configurations for the same amount of available space to reduce the power requirement of the engine or bow thruster during mooring maneuvers and provide additional help to the crew.

It is available in 6 models, from 600 up to 12,000 kg MWL, Maximum Working Load, for sailing and motor boats from 45′ up to 350′ long. The handling can be electric or hydraulic.
The top can be customized with different finishes: aluminum, chrome, steel, but can also be customized according to the shipyard’s requests.
