Felci 63 Catamaran

Description

Felci 63 Catamaran

With this project we tried to transfer our great experience of fast cruiser yachts to the world of catamarans. A quick navigation, in great comfort and safety, within a unique and beautiful object, designed in every detail, simple and complete at the same time.
Above all, the Felci 63 Catamaran is a means to be able to sail effectively. This term encapsulates both the necessary dose of speed and the equally necessary dose of safety.

Felci 63 Catamaran – Exteriors

Throughout the design phase, we sought extreme balance. Balance based on knowledge of the elements we are going to use, which are many and varied, also requiring different skills.
Of great importance is displacement. For a catamaran is a determining factor both for its speed, but also and especially for its safety, and this drives many choices.
So it will be rigidly built, strong but lightweight (essentially carbon sandwich, with high-modulus carbon structural parts).
The appendages will be telescopic with profiles designed to promote lift, in a manner that is functional to performance.

Felci 63 Catamaran – Interiors

A very important chapter was devoted to the interior. The study of living spaces begins with the creation of two large staircases that invite comfortable boarding. The cockpit is a true living area with a prominent dining table. The idea is to be able to live in contact with the sea as much as possible in an open space, at the same time collected and protected. A sliding door that opens fully leads to the living room area, furnished with a large and elegant L-shaped sofa. The effect is that of experiencing indoor and outdoor space in continuity.
Behind the sofa, moving towards the bow, is the galley whose furniture choices allow it to harmonize perfectly with the part dedicated to the control bridge that is developed on the same plane. All this is surrounded by a large window that allows plenty of light and a spectacular view of the sea.
The cabins enjoy large spaces, refined, cozy and designed in every minute detail. Equipped with a bathroom, study room and walk-in closets.
Not to be forgotten, always on the subject of comfort, is the lateral access to the Fly, with important steps that allow an agile ascent to the upper deck where the two large carbon wheels and another relaxation and sunbathing area facing the bow stand out.
