Felci 65
Description
Felci 65
The input given to us by the client is to create a unique yacht capable of participating with excellent potential in offshore racing and at the same time being perfect for comfortable and relaxing cruising.
Exteriors
We started from a blank sheet of paper, thus having the opportunity to really develop something special. The Felci 65 aims to bring technologically and aesthetically innovative elements to the cruiser racer field. First, the new design of the Felci 65 starts from a solid hydrodynamic foundation, thanks to the input of extensive CFD research geared toward determining which of seven candidate hulls offered, for a given displacement, the best compromise between drag and form stability.
Felci 65 – Deck
Felci 65 is a typical “dual purpose” boat its hull needs both of these peculiarities in order to offer excellent sailing and motor performance and associate them with comfortable sailing and allowing for a life on board typical of a yacht of this size. The hull is obviously very streamlined, thanks to the low freeboard and low displacement. The hull is extremely high-performance, characterized by goblet sections that offer great stability and power at high heeling angles and reduced drag at straight hulls.

Deck
Although we have opted for a flash deck configuration, the choice of special and innovative glazing on the Felci 65’s low deckhouse provides considerable brightness to the interior. These are centered on an almost complete separation between the aft area, dedicated to the galley and master cabin, and the forward area, dedicated to the owner and guests.
On the Felci 65, the mast, boom, and dolphin boat will be made of high-modulus carbon. The rigging will be carbon, and the lifting keel will be made of high-performance stainless steel. Then CNC milled, as well as the blade and rudder shaft will be made of high-modulus carbon.
Dal punto di vista estetico molti sono i segni caratterizzanti di questa nuova linea di fast cruiser, sia a livello di opera morta che di sovrastrutture. The delphiniera started with the upturned foredeck, the very pronounced “chamfer” at the bow, and the shapes of the deckhouse with its glazing that picks it up, give great dynamism and movement to the design. They also characterize it formally and offer aerodynamic advantages.
Interiors
We are talking about a 20-meter yacht that will weigh only 18.5 tons, this thanks to state-of-the-art construction, interiors made entirely of lightened material, and a lifting keel that will allow the torpedo to be lowered to 4.4 meters. The deck equipment is of the highest quality and has an ideal layout for both offshore racing and small-crew sailing. Choices of functionalist approach guided the design of the deck lay out, always seeking innovative solutions at the implementation level, aiming for the best ergonomics and using excellent components.
