Lowrance, technology at the service of fishermen

Freshwater fishing today is even easier, more fun and most importantly, more effective thanks to technology from Lowrance, a leader in fishing electronics for more than 60 years. Just have one of its innovative instruments dedicated to fishfinding on board, such as theActive Target, l’Elite Fs or theHook Reveal to monitor the seabed under the boat in real time and detect prey, but also use its new electric marine thrusters Ghost that allow fishermen to make longer fishing trips, sail faster and approach without scaring fish away.

Sonar ActiveTarget Live
: the hunt begins!

The new ActiveTarget™ Live high-resolution sonar system can show real-time images of fish swimming in and around the structure as soon as they notice the bait. This new technology combines outstanding live sonar functionality with the innovative high-resolution HDS® LIVE Fishing System with the recently introducedHDS® Carbon and Lowrance Elite FS™ displays – providing ActiveTarget Live Sonar connectivity to a wide range of displays with different price ranges.

ActiveTarget Live Sonar visualizations show high-resolution images of fish movements in real time and detail. Because of this instant feedback, anglers are able to instantly adjust the cast on the fish present based on the live information they receive from the probe.

Getting fish to bite is even easier

Take advantage of high-resolution images of fish swimming around the structure and reacting to your bait, in real time, with the new Live Sonar ActiveTarget™. In addition to Forward, Down or Scouting views, you can sound out the position of fish around the boat and easily monitor their movements. Learn how fish interact with the structure and react to the bait, so you can adjust your fishing action and get them to bite. Get on board!

The strengthsof Active Target™ Live are:

  • Ultra-high resolution
Observe underwater life with stunning clarity and breathtaking detail
  • Multiple Views
Look around and below you with Forward, Down and Scout™ views

The new electric motors
Ghost

The new Ghost models, with 47-inch (119) 52-inch (132 cm) and 60-inch (152 cm) stems, respectively, offer all the advantages and features of the original Ghost electric motor to boats with taller bows.

There is now a Lowrance trolling motor to meet the needs of all bass fishermen and for a wider range of multi-species and walleye fishing boats.

Features of Lowrance Ghost electric motors include:

  • Brushless motor
The Ghost’s brushless motor generates 25 percent more thrust than the competition and offers up to 45 percent more operating hours on a single charge, which equates to almost a day’s extra fishing. The combination of precision in production, exclusive manufacturing materials and a state-of-the-art propeller design, which prevents entanglement in algae, offers more thrust and greater efficiency.
  • Zero interference with sonar
The Ghost’s brushless motor helps eliminate noise and, unlike ordinary brush motors, has no brushes that wear out, providingsuperior reliability and longer life. The brushless motor Does not emit electromagnetic interference, offering fishermen the sharpest possible sonar views with zero interference on the screen.
  • Integration
Users can steer, adjust speed, configure navigation of a route, or anchor at a current location with the touchscreen control of a Lowrance display with SmartSteer™ interface. Ghost easily associates with displays HDS LIVE, HDS Carbon and Elite-Ti² via a simple NMEA 2000.
  • Lowrance plug-and-play sonar
Ghost offers two integrated sonar ogive options, including HDI (CHIRP and DownScan Imaging™) and optional Active ImagingTM 3-in-1 transducers (CHIRP sonar, SideScan and DownScan Imaging). All engines are equipped with an HDI transducer, but can be upgraded to a different spinner at any time.

  • Fly-By-Wire Government
Fly-By-Wire‘s instant and smooth government gives the Ghost the feel of a cable-steer engine, but without the mechanical cables that wear out over time. Regardless of the brand of trolling motor used previously, anglers will immediately feel comfortable with theinnovative Ghost pedal, fully configurable by the user. The pedal can be customized to your preferences via programmable hotkeys and a Flip Switch which can be moved to allow the trolling motor to be used on either side of the pedal. The buttons of the various modes have LED lights and an audible signal that provides feedback when a mode is activated. The foot control also has a battery level indicator. In addition, Ghost 60 includes a standard remote control for easy control anywhere on the boat.
  • Sturdy structure
The 360-degree shockproof stand is designed to withstand any shock and automatically realigns itself Once the affected structure is removed. A composite stem, with a lifetime warranty, helps resist shocks, and a built-in stabilizer bar reduces bounce when gliding in rough water. The pedal cable is secured to the bracket with strong clips that prevent it from moving on the deck, preventing damage to rods and reels and obstructing the view of the Lowrance fishfinders installed nearby.
  • Versatile installation
The motor weighs less than 1.8 kg compared to equivalent motors with brushes, allowing it to be installed, operated and stored more easily. The Ghost is designed to operate in 24- or 36-volt systems, with a thrust of up to 44/54 kg respectively, and allows future upgrades of the battery and charger.
