Low-maintenance achievements with state-of-the-art transmission techniques. The use of high-quality industrial products, bearings, gears and worm gears create an automatic stop gearbox that is smooth and quiet.
The high torque output developed by GFI systems is ensured by the use of orbital hydraulic motors. The worm gearbox is an irreversible mechanism that absorbs the force created by the sail surface without transmitting it to the hydraulic motor.
The GFI series is equipped with a manual turnbuckle for stay tensioning. Standard bodies are manufactured from thick anodized aluminum alloy pigmented black.
