The design, we speak of scimitar bow and smiling stern, comes directly from the very recent ICE 33 racer, launched by the shipyard in June 2014 and already built by the shipyard in 5 units, a real killer in all the regattas in which it participates.
The avant-garde project is realized by Felci Yacht Design and the production site is leased in the historic facilities of CN Yacht 2000, a structure that has to its credit thirty years of experience and the construction of over 80 prestigious maxi yachts.
On the hydrodynamic level, the water lines and appendages promise great performance, with impressive results that highlight the attitude of ICE 60 to climb the wind at very narrow angles and to glide very fast at the bearing gaits thanks to its important maximum beam of 5.20 meters so with flat and powerful stern sections.
To guarantee these performances are added the high technologies used in the construction and the incredible quality of a very high quality craftsmanship, the result of technicians who make use of experience gained in many years of activity dedicated to the construction of many boats that have written the history of sailing, not only in Italy.
The spacious and comfortable interiors are offered with a choice of two interior layouts, as well as many finishing materials and endless details.
Another of its strengths is the versatility linked to the possible configurations of keel. In particular, the choice between a lifting keel, which allows you to change the draft from almost 4 meters to 2.3 meters, and a standard version keel, which can vary from 2.85 meters to about 3.5 meters, allows you to adapt ICE 60 to all needs and destinations of use. These options are also related to the optimization of the torpedo weight, which is specially dimensioned and realized with numerical control.
The fin made of Weldox steel with high characteristics and the numerically controlled lead torpedo also offer the advantage of reducing the weight of the ballast and thus reducing the total displacement of the boat, with the same righting moment.
All this allows to maintain very high averages in all conditions, both racing and cruising, sailing or motor, in total safety and comfort.
The particularly studied rudder, allows an impressive control even when the boat is skidded or subjected to large hydrodynamic loads, confirming the great attention paid to safety, central to both design and construction.
The deck reflects the general lines of Felci Yacht Design projects, combining simplicity and style, modernity and efficiency, comfort and versatility.
Aft of the wheelhouses there is a large relaxation area, with direct access to the sea through the functional opening stern that acts as a beach and entrance to the garage, where you can stow the tender of important dimensions (mt. 3.30 without deflating it).
The cockpit, characterized by large benches and comfortable backrests is definitely oversized and allows, in addition to comfortable protected navigation, to give space to a large dining table.
Being able to raise the level of the dinette dunnage, bringing it closer to that of the cockpit, the entrance is also facilitated, thanks to the large front side windows, the interaction with the external environment is enhanced, making life on board more pleasant and bright.
