IceCat Seventytwo

Description

IceCat Seventytwo

The IceCat Seventytwo represents a decisive step forward in catamaran design with cues from the automotive world and is the result of a successful meeting between Ice Yachts and the Micheletti+Partners studio.

IceCat Seventytwo has two hulls with streamlined, very sleek lines, characterized by an almost minimal formal cleanliness and practical essentiality in the service of maximum performance. The not too veiled goal is to get a boat capable of reaching over 30 knots of top speed!

The sought-after sportiness and ergonomics of every nook and cranny allows a boat with such excellent sailing characteristics to encompass the comforts that a multihull of over 70 feet must have.

Exteriors

The deck is spotlessly clean and essential, allowing for instrumentation, controls, and rigging where they are needed, leaving plenty of room for guests and crew. The cockpit, at the same level as the dinette, creates a total continuity between inside and outside, usable in any condition and in maximum safety. One of the distinctive elements that encapsulates the values of practicality and livability on board is the bimini, which is extremely slender and projecting because it is supported by two very modern arched uprights.

The boat is high on the water with lots of volume in the hulls, and the powerful hulls are designed to minimize the risk of gaveling.
Speaking of exterior design, the large windows on the broadside provide very high brightness and close contact with the sea.

Interior

The interior layout out provides two entrances per hull to ensure maximum privacy and flexibility in life on board. The port hull consists of an aft crew area with private entrance, where there is a spacious cabin with bathroom. The crew cabin is directly connected to the kitchen area, which is very large and fully equipped so as to wax a separate operating area. The second entrance in the bow leads to the VIP guest cabin, which is very spacious with a double bed and dedicated shower room.

In the starboard hull, aft, is the master cabin with sleeping area, a very large and bright walk-in closet, and a bathroom with shower. In the bow, on the other hand, again with separate entrance, is the second guest cabin with bunk beds and bathroom with shower. The separation of interior spaces is designed to give guests a unique experience on board without compromising comfort and functionality.
