Jeanneau Yachts 55 – Sailboat of 17 meters

The Jeanneau Yachts 55, the newest addition to the shipyard’s luxury Yachts range, will soon replace the 54 and join the 60 and 65. The new Jeanneau Yachts 55 was designed once again by Philippe Briand, in collaboration with Andrew Winch for the interns, will likely make its official debut at the upcoming Dusseldorf Boat Show.

Jeanneau Yachts 55 – Exterior

On the outside, surprisingly, the Dual Cockpit that has all its importance. The aft area is intended for relaxation: two dinettes on either side, one U-shaped and the other L-shaped, both convertible into two sunbathing areas and a giant platform, which opens with the help of a hydraulic jack, for easy access to the sea. In the bow is the dual steering station and also an external chart table with GPS display and autopilot control. This is protected by a large wrap-around windshield and hard top that provides exceptional visibility. These innovations are designed to be able to travel in all seasons and at all latitudes and to bring the pleasure of sailing back to the center of life on board.

True to the spirit of the range-elegance, performance, comfort, and long-distance travel-this sailboat does not hesitate to break the codes to best meet the expectations of those sailors who wish to reach far-flung destinations. Designed as a true private apartment, the interior owner’s area offers a unique layout that occupies two-thirds of the boat’s bow. Bright, refined, comfortable, the Jeanneau Yachts 55 is equipped with functional equipment to enjoy sailing experiences in total serenity. The main below-deck descent gives access to the master suite, which opens onto the forward cabin. Bright, refined and comfortable this boat is equipped with props and handrails to make life on board safer while sailing. The two en-suite cabins allow guests to be accommodated in perfectly separate areas, accessible from the cockpit via two separate companionways.
