Description

The Lagoon 50, with its new visual identity, with its new type of rig and with the design of the hull, offers exactly better performance together with a unique line. The decision to retract the mast, born of Studio VLPL’s experience in competitions, has numerous advantages for this catamaran: a self-turning jib to facilitate manoeuvring; a large triangle at the bow for a greater choice of load-bearing sails: an important factor for high performance; a shorter boom to make manoeuvring considerably easier; a mainsail with a large extension to take advantage of the less disturbed wind at the top, thus improving performance; weight centring thanks to the retracted rig to considerably reduce the boat’s pitching.

Lagoon 50 – Exteriors

A flybridge with two secure entrances and a wheelhouse that offers perfect visibility; behind it, an immense modular space for relaxation whose well-hidden lockers are extremely spacious for storing cushions. An aft cockpit open to the sea, spacious and unobstructed aft mirrors for easy access and a modular dinette with removable seats to accommodate smaller and larger families. A second cockpit in the bow to make better use of the sunbathing area with a dual function: seating and sunbathing area at the same level as the bow platform. Capacious lockers in most of the cockpit and flybridge seats.

Lagoon 50 – Interiors

The design of the spacious interior reveals innovative architecture aimed at providing a warm and convivial atmosphere. Everyone can choose the layout they prefer with an innovative design of the saloon, built on two levels, for two distinct but communicating living areas: a large galley open to the cockpit on one side and a spacious lounge slightly elevated for a better panoramic view of the sea which, if desired, can be converted into a dinette. An innovative interior design, with a new elegant and elaborate wood finish, chosen by the owner.

Unparalleled communication between inside and outside: the central window can be opened, providing perfect ventilation for the saloon and cockpit, as well as serving as a link with the bow area.
Unrivalled light in the aft cabins with their panoramic windows and large portholes in the showers and bathrooms. Spacious, comfortable hulls with special attention paid to storage solutions: cabins forward and aft with island beds, spacious lockers, wardrobes and open bookcases. Drinking water and waste water tanks under the floorboards leave considerable volumes clear. The grey water tank is an option to meet environmental requirements.
