Lagoon 50

Description

Lagoon 50

The Lagoon 50, with its new visual identity, with its new type of rigging and hull design, offers precisely better performance jointly with a unique line. The decision to set back the tree, born out of the experience of VLPL study in competitions, presents numerous advantages for this catamaran: a self-turning jib for facilitate maneuvering; a large triangle at the bow for a greater choice of load-bearing sails: important factor for high performance; a shorter boom to greatly facilitate the maneuvering; a mainsail with great elongation to take advantage of the less disturbed wind aloft, thus improving performance; and weight centering thanks to the rearmost limb to considerably reduce the boat’s pitching.

Exteriors

A flybridge with two secure entrances and a wheelhouse that offers perfect visibility; behind it, an immense modular lounging space whose well concealed lockers are extremely roomy for storing cushions. An aft cockpit open to the sea, spacious and unobstructed aft mirrors for easy onboard access, and a modular dinette with removable seating to accommodate fewer and larger families. A second cockpit in the bow to better exploit the sunbathing area with a dual function: seating and sunbathing area at the same level as the bow trampoline. Roomy lockers in most cockpit and flybridge seating.

A unparalleled communication between the inside and outside: the central window is openable and thus offers a perfect ventilation of the square but also of the cockpit, as well as serving as the conjunction with the forward area.Unparalleled brightness in the aft cabins with panoramic fenestration and large hull portholes in the showers and bathrooms.
