RLG EVO Gennaker furler

RLG EVO furler for Gennaker is the new furler for Gennaker (sails with free leading edge). RLG EVO is the evolution of the already well-known and patented ROLLGEN system. This new development features increased loadand smoothness performance and a weight reduction of about 60 percent. Features achieved through the use of materials such as Ergal and 17- 4PH steel.

Compared to the previous model, the new RLG EVO has the tack attachment in neutral (a key element for furling freeboard sails) freed from the drum and has now become an integral part of the special ROLLGEN forestay.

It follows that the drum and head can also be used to furl sails such as CODE 0s(sails inferred on an anti-twist forestay), while the free sail furling system (Gennaker) that is Bamar’s ROLLGEN “patent” remains fully integrated into the special forestay.
