The new Solaris Power 48 Open was conceived and built by the now familiar design dream team of Norberto Ferretti, Brunello Acampora and Giuseppe Giuliani. The boat offers a number of unique features in the daycruiser category with unprecedented levels of comfort and liveability both inside and outside.
Solaris Power 48 Open
Like the 55′, the new Solaris Power 48 Open is a very technical boat, focusing on cruising ability, functionality and safety. The latest generation propulsion system is perfectly integrated into the shape of the hull, which has never been done before in this segment. These capabilities make possible long cruises in adverse weather conditions, in total safety and with an extended range.
Solaris Power 48 Open – Navigation
In addition, the yacht can boast a number of features that are difficult to combine in a single boat: it can cruise efficiently at low speeds in displacement mode and even over 35 knots.
In contrast to normal boats, the Solaris Power 48 Open cruise very safely even in unfavourable weather conditions, offers low fuel consumption, which means more range, gives reduced CO2 emissions, has greater manoeuvrability thanks to its joysticks, low noise level, zero vibrations and great stability even at anchor.
On the main deck, starting from the bow, there is a sunbathing area with a shaded headrest. The navigation area is equipped with instruments, joysticks and a complete dashboard, as well as two touch-screens that can be configured according to the owner’s needs.
Proceeding aft of Solaris Power 48 Open you find the galley area where the carbon fibre T-top support is located. Then there is another sunbathing area, the cockpit with two sofas facing each other and a table in the middle, perfect for dinners or aperitifs. Aft, the beach area with shower and an 80 cm retractable ladder-passarella. Finally, there is a large garage for storing tenders, wings and water toys.
Solaris Power 48 Open – Interiors
As far as the interior layout is concerned, two different options are available: both, firstly, feature a double bedroom, full beam. This cabin is furnished with two wardrobes and a beauty corner. During the day the cabin is very bright thanks to its opening portholes and at night the LED lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere.
Together with it, first version has another cabin with twin beds, portholes and access to the bathroom, while in a second version the guest area is furnished as a comfortable living room. A hatch in the bow leads to the crew quarters.
There are two engine options to choose from: Volvo IPS 600 or 650, with a maximum speed of over 35 knots. Cruising at an average of 20 knots, the range is approximately 300 miles.
