Sunbeam 40.1

The Sunbeam 40.1 is a design that fits perfectly into the continuing development of the Sunbeam range. Once again, working with Slovenian designer J&J, a striking design and style has been created that perfectly matches the classic Sunbeam range with modern, yet classic hull lines and a sporty and elegant deck design.

The new Sunbeam 40.1 has a dual-wheel steering system with safe and secure driving positions. Halyards, sheets, and lines are safely and easily led down to the cockpit for easy handling of rigging. The mainsail and genoa sheet winches are positioned so that they can be operated from the helm. A double-sided mainsail sheet is standard, while a self-tacking jib can also be had as an option.

Exteriors

The Sunbeam 40.1 is designed for easy, fun and comfortable sailing, and so is life aboard. For example, this Sunbeam has a large folding bathing platform that includes a folding ladder with handrail. Teak wood finish is standard on the platform and in the cockpit.

Between the cockpit and the aft platform this Sunbeam offers a large sundeck with a large locker below. Combined with the lockers under the cockpit bench seats, there is ample storage space for long periods on board.

Interior

The interior design of the Sunbeam 40.1 is modern, bright and airy. The layout is also flexible because you can choose between a two-cabin and a three-cabin version. The forward cabin can be made with a central island bed or as a V-shaped berth and shower space.

The aft area, on the other hand, can be designed with two double cabins or an aft cabin to port and a huge locker/storage room to starboard. The L-shaped kitchen has been carefully designed and is equipped with all the equipment one could have in one’s home.
