Swan 77 – Rascalzone Latino

Mascalzone Latino is the latest Swan 77 built by Nautor’s Swan shipyard, so she benefits from the experience gained while building all nine previous yachts. Developed by Nautor’s Swan for the discerning owner seeking a performance yacht with a high degree of interior comfort, the Swan 77 meets the design brief by allowing fast sailing with a strong, agile yacht even in rough seas. In 2018 the boat underwent a complete refit, which included a complete replacement of the engine, generator, a new boom, a new teak deck, and a new set of cruising sails. Currently this Swan 77 is visible in Porto Ferraio.

Originating from the pencil of Germán Frers and subsequently produced in 10 examples between 1992 and 2004 by the Finnish Nautor’s Swan shipyard, the Swan 77 is an impressive ocean cruiser capable of traversing even the most difficult waters.

Mascalzone Latino ‘s interior is teak finished with hand satin varnish; in the bow we find a crew cabin with 2+1 bunks, toilet, shower, sink, mirror and lockers. The galley, also located in the bow, has work surfaces finished in white Cameo Corian, oven and four burners with extractor hood, stainless steel double sink, and microwave oven. We also find a front-loading refrigerator and freezer, while a second refrigerator is located in the bar area; a Miele washer, dryer, and dishwasher are also installed on board.

The guest cabins, one aft and one forward, have a double bed with drawers, secondary berth and full bathroom. The living room, on the other hand, is designed with a U-shaped sofa around a rectangular teak table for six to eight people, cabinets for dishes and bookshelves, and a second L-shaped sofa.

The aft master stateroom has twin berths on either side with lower drawers, locker bookcases and upper hanging drawers, a forward desk on the centerline with chair, and independent access to the deck via removable teak stairs. We then find a sofa for two on the center line between the aft bunks, a large hanging locker on the center line, and a Chubb wall safe. The cabin has a full bathroom with sink, separate shower stall and cabinets.
