Pardo 38: top comfort and performance
Like her 43- and 50-foot big brothers, the Pardo 38 was designed by Zuccheri Yacht Design, in collaboration with Cantiere del Pardo’s technical department, for a discerning owner who is attentive to quality, design, Made in Italy luxury and comfort, always associated with high performance and speed. This new 12-meter boat from Cantiere del Pardo will be available in two versions, with inboard or outboard engines that will allow up to 1050 hp and a speed of 50 knots.
The Pardo 38 is a good compromise between performance and comfort, thanks to a deep-V, variable-geometry hull that gives it excellent seaworthiness and at the same time perfect maneuverability to glide along safely and at speed. Convex bottoms also provide greater strength of shape.

Pardo 38 – Deck
This new 12-meter boat is a boat designed for those who like to experience the sea in company, with guests on board, but also enjoy moments of extreme relaxation in a few. The single walkaround deck plan echoes that of its two older siblings, ensuring safety on board and easy movement through spaces. In fact, the deck is developed in a single plane from bow to stern without steps and is entirely protected by raised bulwarks to give assurance of safety. All dunnage is natural teak as standard equipment, and can be replaced by synthetic teak upon request. Maximum customization, on the other hand, is left to the owner in terms of the colors and fabrics of the on-board cushions.
As in every Pardo Yachts model, great attention has been paid to design, attention to detail, and the quality of materials used. The fixed T-Top constructed of rigid, lightweight carbon fiber covers from the wheelhouse area to the dining area (consisting of a table around which six comfortable seats find space), with the option of extending the cover aft with a bimini. The latter can be activated with an electric mechanism built into the top of the T-Top.
Areas dedicated to relaxation are located both forward, where there is a large sunbathing area comfortable for three people, and aft, where we find two opposing seats and a fold-down table. Just the aft area has been dedicated to the dining area, featuring the now iconic outdoor kitchen that provides several custom solutions.
Note the ergonomics of the console area, which is enhanced by carbon inserts and a windshield without supports that provides a perfect view while sailing, thanks in part to the freeboard lines that droop toward the stern. At the bow, the easy and intuitive anchoring system also has a camera visible on the chartplotter in the console to make maneuvering as simple and safe as possible. Lighting designed to create a dreamlike atmosphere throughout the cockpit is provided for nighttime hours.
Interior
In terms of interior spaces, two different layouts are provided: the standard one has a cabin with a double bed and a bathroom, but two single beds can also be added in the aft area to form a true second cabin upon request.
Also in this 38-footer, the open space environment features large volumes, generous heights, abundant light and excellent ventilation, with an exceptional distribution of space for a boat of this size. The linearity and refinement of the furnishings are enhanced by the careful choice of woods and attention to detail that make the interiors of Pardo 38 an excellence of Made in Italy.
Motorization
One of the most important features of the new Pardo 38 is the absolute flexibility in the choice of motorization, which can be inboard or dual/triple outboard motorization, up to a maximum power output of 1,050 horsepower. The different combinations allow for up to seven different engines ranging from two to three outboard motors.
Standard motorization includes two Volvo Penta 280hp gasoline inboard engines while at the specific request of the owner it is possible to fit two Volvo Penta D4 diesel 300hp or D6 380hp or 440hp. Also at the owner’s request, the Pardo 38 can be powered with two 300- or 350-hp Mercury outboards or with triple 350-hp Mercury engines. Characteristic of all types of motorization, is the possibility of installing the joystick that allows you to control the boat at its best.
