4/5 JUNE – TAG Heuer VELA Cup | Brindisi
A new stop on the Vela Cup circuit in the heart of the Lower Adriatic in a unique city with sailing in its blood, Brindisi. We are guests of the famous Marina di Brindisi in Marinedi, which from June 4 to 5 will come alive com the Velacup circuit and will be invaded by the tribe of sailors who love to be together and enjoy the healthy spirit of competition.
WHERE AND WHEN. Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 in Brindisi, Apulia.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE. Any type of boat from 4 meters and up, no certicate required. First place wins, with divisions by homogeneous length classes, “cruising” and “racing” categories.
FREE MOORINGS. Brindis Marina offers free moorings to boats from outside the area.
DURATION AND ROUTE. The “Regatta” lasts no longer than three to four hours. The route is coastal.
THE EQUIPMENT. You do not have to be an experienced sailor to participate.
AWARDS. Prizes are awarded to the first in each class in the “cruising” and “racing” categories. The overall winner on corrected time among all participants wins the prestigious TAG Heuer Aquaracer watch, and a Garmin inReach will be drawn.
