Description

Ice 70

The Ice Yacht 70, designed by Felci Yacht Design studio, merges elegance, technology, performance, and versatility into one object.

Introducing the new ICE70, a unique boat that expresses all our passion to make your dreams come true.

Elegance in stylistic choices, harmonious both internally and externally, in which classic and modern styles are blended, thus emphasizing exclusivity and refinement.

Technology in content, both in design and construction. The shipyard has put all its decades of experience to good use, using excellent techniques and materials, such as infusion for making the composite parts, extensive use of carbon fiber for hull, deck, structures, ensuring great rigidity and large safety coefficients.

Performance, thanks to the shape of the hull characterized by a low wetted surface area and at the same time high form stability, thus ensuring fast and comfortable cruising and participation in long distance offshore racing with excitement to be experienced.

Versatility of interior fittings. ICE YACHTS gives the opportunity for optional customization of interior decoration. In fact, an ad hoc design for shapes, colors, and materials can be made so as to make one’s yacht truly unique.

Ice Yacht 70 – Exterior

The view as soon as you step aboard the Ice Yacht 70 is lost from the cockpit towards the bow with large spaces and an orderliness that give the boat an incredible exclusivity. Stylistically, the deck features a square, flat, slender deckhouse with large, double-layered glass windows, from which light floods in, illuminating the entire “raised” living room inside. Stemming from an in-depth ergonomic and functional study, the large cockpit, deep enough to confer safety, and the equipment, rationally arranged to facilitate crew and helmsman. The primary and mainsail winches are set back and easily reached, the mainsail halyard is deferred aft so it can be hoisted by staying directly at the wheel; the pistons that adjust the back stay are retractable. The well-executed intent is to have visual cleanliness both in the cockpit and throughout the deck.

The Ice Yacht 70 is equipped with a carefully designed and carefully constructed carbon fiber dolphin boat, designed in every detail to buoy both Gennaker and Code zero and to serve as an anchor snout. The opening stern gives access to the large garage, where dinghy and numerous items needed on board can be stowed; the small beach flush to the water allows for easy descent to the sea. The aft gangway is hydraulic and retractable.

Made to design, it is a true piece of architecture and technology. Made of carbon and teak, it features a light and elegant molded base. Inside there is space for two separate compartments for storing various items and three large displays for navigation electronics.

The table top is closable and allows 6 to 8 people to dine comfortably.

Well

The cockpit benches on the Ice Yacht 70 are wide and made even more comfortable by the possibility of attaching water-repellent cushions made to the design, which can be disassembled and easily stowed in the garage, which also has two entrances from the cockpit. Also in the cockpit are the overall cleanliness, the two aft lockers for stowing rafts, the retractable toeboards, and the recessed mainsail track, completely hidden if necessary.

Ice 70

Always with a view to mixing classic and hi-tech materials carbon rudder posts and new consoles, designed specifically for this boat and shaped to follow the guidelines of the deckhouse, stand out, allowing for the most ergonomic positioning possible of all those electronic components that are now an integral part of every modern yacht.

Interestingly, all machinery can be operated from the console, i.e., main engine, bow trusther, stern trusther, anchor winch, mooring winch, all hydraulics, including the one that operates the lifting fin, and the very complete deck light system.

Details

Many details specifically designed and shaped to add exclusivity to this Ice Yacht 70. For example, the recess of the dodger completely concealed by a teak-finished portelleria. Or the grommets, milled from solid, that fit inside the gunwale that runs seamlessly from stern to bow, or the uniquely shaped pulpits that echo the formal design guidelines in an interesting philosophical unicum.

Of course, this formal research extended across the whole project could not but involve the dodger and bimini of the Ice Yacht 70. Both elements that by definition must be able to mix maritime and functionality, with that comfort that allows one to fully experience the pleasure of sailing and experiencing the sea. Both made with the help of the virtual room that allows you to “get on board” and check every functional concept in advance, they remain elegantly tied to the muscular forms of the bridge.

The Ice Yacht 70’s bimini was made from two aerodynamically profiled carbon bows is full of interesting details. For example, central fenestration, interior lighting, and the ability to create a truly protected environment for very comfortable outdoor living even in not particularly favorable weather conditions.

Interior

The main essence used in the décor of the Ice Yacht 70 is teak left natural, the first message of how classicism and nautical tradition can be married with the contemporary. The inserts that cover the vertical walls and create a continuum throughout the living spaces are made of natural leather. The choice was made to play with shades of beiges and whites for the fabrics, with some nuances for seating and sofas, thus diversifying the two living areas: the lighter living area, the TV area, a darker gradation, to give this place of relaxation more intimacy.

Objects are also taken care of, again with a classic philosophy with a modern twist. A contemporary work is harmoniously juxtaposed with the half-hull model, as well as the designer lamp.

Teak dunnage, with dark wenge slats, runs longitudinally from stern to bow, stylistically tying all rooms together. The aft area, organized with the captain’s cabin, communicating with the galley area, is completely self-contained to ensure considerable privacy for the owner and his guests. The forward area is dedicated to the master cabin, which is large and elegant with a master bathroom complete with shower and sauna all lined with teak and with a small study where one can retire in absolute tranquility, and the guest area consisting of a cabin with a double bed and large closets and a dedicated bathroom.
