adria shipDo you know which was the first shipyard in the world to have adopted the double rudder blade that everyone later adopted, changing, for the better, the handling of a sailboat? It was Elan Yachts, the shipyard founded in 1949 that came up with a good deal of the innovations that were later adopted on production boats. And Elan makes use of prestigious partnerships, such as the one with Porsche.

At Milan Yachting Week-The digital boat show Elan Yachts has just hit the dock thanks to its importer Adria Ship and has chosen three boats from Elan’s latest generation that are the best of its three production lines:

  • Elan E5, spearhead of the E line, intended for those who enjoy comfort and high performance under sail.
  • Elan GT6, top of the GT range, for those who like comfort and luxury for long sailing.
  • Impression 45.1, from the Impression range that stands out for roominess and comfort thanks to the saloon deck that expands interior spaces.

These three perfect examples of the latest generation of sailboats can be found in the Milan Yachting Week sailboat harbor, where you can enjoy a one-click tour of dozens of sailboats from the best shipyards and of all sizes.

To tantalize you to visit the new Elans in our digital Boat Show, we give you some previews of what you will find as you step aboard.

Elan E5 for going full throttle while being comfortable

TheElan E5 (m. 11.96 x 3.87) is the perfect compromise between cruising and racing. In the Elan E5, the cruising interior and exterior ergonomics are married with a retractable carbon fiber bowsprit, furling genoa, through-mast and adjustable split backstay.

In the Elan GT6 there is the hand of Porsche

TheElan GT6 (m. 15.14 x 4.49) bears Porsche’s signature in design…and it shows. Thanks in part to the intervention of designer Rob Humpheys, one of the world’s sailing archistars, the GT6 uniquely combines cutting-edge construction technology with fine traditional craftsmanship. Creating a modern and unforgettable browsing experience.

Space expands in the Elan Impression 45.1

TheElan Impression 45.1 (m. 13.59 x 4.18) dictated the line of the new generation of “deck saloons,” the boats with a pronounced deckhouse that offers maximum shelter from the sea in the cockpit and expands interior spaces with stunning sea views. Elan has succeeded in harmonizing these elements, creating a boat with fascinating lines, a striking interior, and a cockpit worthy of a superyacht.
