Mooring with Harken is easier! At the Milan Yachting Week – The Digital Boat Show there is a solution for no more hassle when mooring.

Harken: the problem of mooring and anchoring is solved

Harken took care of the mooring problem. At its booth, it is presenting the revolutionary CLR Mooring Winch, which allows the automatic pulling or releasing of mooring lines at the push of a button. But it also has another unique innovation, CLR is telescopic (never seen that before!) and when not in use it disappears flush with the deck. No clutter and risk of stepping on your feet as you walk on deck. In addition, it weighs little and takes up little space below deck.

If you watch the video interview with Emanuele Cecchini, Harken’s sales director, you will better understand what we are talking about.

An ingenious idea that solves every crew’s main problem when arriving in port and having to complete the mooring maneuver: making it easy, effortless and without getting dirty or hurt when using mooring lines.

There is also a version of CLR Mooring Winch that can be installed at the bow, for example when you need to maneuver a line attached to a buoy. An even more useful accessory when there are few and perhaps inexperienced people in the boat.

Harken’s CLR Mooring Winch can also be installed on existing sail and power boats from 45 feet (about 13.5 meters) and up.
